For Campaign Donors

First off: thank you. If you’re reading this, it probably means you’re a generous person. We hope you find a fun, inspiring campaign to support on Adirondack Gives.

How do I give?

Step 1: Pick the campaign you want to support and click Contribute Now.

Step 2: Enter your gift amount and click Continue.

Step 3: Select your payment option — PayPal or credit/debt card.

Step 3: Fill out the required fields.

Step 4: Review our Terms of Use and click the box to agree.

Step 5: Click Donate.

I clicked donate. What should I expect?

Check your email! We will send you two messages:

  1. A transaction receipt from Authorize, our credit card processor. This is a simple receipt to confirm your donation. If you used PayPal, you’ll receive a similar message.
  2. A tax receipt letter from Adirondack Foundation. This proves that you received no gifts or services in exchange for your donation, and that your gift is tax-deductible to the full extent of the law. Don’t lose this one! Print it out for your records!

My donation is safe and secure, right?

Absolutely. Both of our processors, Authorize and PayPal, maintain the highest industry security standards.

Can my gift be refunded?

Gifts are refundable at Adirondack Foundation’s discretion. We cover all transaction  fees so that 100 percent of your donation goes to the campaign it is intended for. Refunds are issued only when a donor has made a mistake, or in the rare event that a campaign doesn’t surpass the $250 minimum.
