The Cloudsplitter Foundation has awarded us a fantastic opportunity to upgrade our ancient computers, currently used by both students and staff, by way of a generous offer to match funds donated for this purpose dollar-for-dollar.  This means that your donation for this purpose will carry twice the weight!

We’re proud of the work that we are doing in Essex and Franklin Counties to support adults to accomplish their personal and educational goals through literacy education. To continue this work, we need functioning computers that can handle modern software.  Our current computers are practically antiques – all are more than five years old, and many are much older, having been donated to our program many years ago.  Funds raised by this campaign will be matched dollar-for-dollar by the Cloudsplitter Foundation and, if we meet our goal of $3,500, we will be able to upgrade all of the computers used by our staff and purchase new computers to be used by the adult learners in our offices.

Literacy Volunteers of Essex & Franklin Counties served 131 adult learners in 2017 with the help of 30 volunteers who logged over 1200 contact hours!  Please help us build on this momentum by donating today.  All donations, regardless of amount, are greatly appreciated!
